INTRODUCTION
It was founded in the 878, the first inhabitants were the Ibers. The first name of the city was Sant Martí d’Arenys.
With an extension of 22'05 km2, These limits are the borders of Sant Vicenç de Montalt, Dosrius, Vallgorguina, Sant Iscle de Vallalta, Canet de Mar and Arenys de Mar.
The first written evidence about my city was in 878 and two famous people related to the city were Maria Antonia Torrent and Domènec Perramon.
The oldest building in my town is the church of Sant Marti.
In the city you can find a lot of farm houses and five housing developments.
The small urban center, is on both sides of the Stream (riera), It is situated 4 km from Arenys de Mar and from the coast|shore, 13 km of Sant Celoni, and the village is 10 km Noth from Mataró and 45 km from Barcelona.
